This square-shaped drug jar is identical to 1991.0664.0717. The date “1716” is at the lower portion of the jar. According to George Urdang author of <i>The Squibb Ancient Pharmacy Catalogue</I>, the intertwined triple “C” on the left represents Christian, Duke of Saxe-Weissenfels, and the letters "LCD" on the right for his wife Louise Christine.
