Cof. hyerae co

This albarello drug jar is decorated with an elaborate blue floral motif. On the upper shoulder is a depiction of John the Baptist's head lying on a plate. An escroll diagonally placed on the waist is marked in gothic script, <i>Cof. hyerae co</i>. The remains of a paper label is glued to the interior rim of the jar. It is marked in pen, <i>"J O</i>.
