This blown and molded square-shaped glass drug jar has a round wooden lid, and the it is decorated with a white cartouche framed by stylized blue leaves and red and yellow flowers. The baked enamel label is marked <i>CORA ALB</i>. Coral was used for centuries for a variety of ills including the reduction of fever, the prevention of bleeding in pregnant women, gastric pain, and to protect infants from convulsions.
