Albarello

1600 - 1699

This albarello has an off-white background glaze, with two yellow "C" scrolls surrounded by blue decorations. A saint, possibly John the Baptist, is depicted in the center of the jar. He is holds a lamb, a book, and a long, thin cross. The back of the container is decorated with blue foliage.
