TINCT CASCARIL

This blown and molded square glass bottle has a narrow neck and a flared lip. The baked white enamel label is flanked by blue flowers and ribbons. The label reads <i>TINCT CASCARIL</i> in black. The bottle would have contained a Tincture of Cascarilla, a plant native to the Caribbean. It's bark was used in a variety of solutions to help cure stomach ailments.
