It is in “book” form, made of mahogany and blond fruitwood with ivory and wood inlays and a wood slide inlaid and inscribed with an octave scale. As indicated in the accession paperwork, this pitch pipe was made for American singing teacher and composer, Andrew Law (1749 - 1821).
