Circular, combination electric flatbed toaster and stove. Consists of a circular block of white refractory material with nickel-chromium resistance wire coil inset into a spiral groove on top and four cabriole wire legs ending in black, hard rubber feet attached to underside. Removable exterior frame with wire grid has a vertical rectangular, embossed metal plate riveted to exterior: “HOSKINS/ELECTRIC/TOASTOVE/TYPE DA NO. \1/U.S. PATENTS/FEB. 6, 06/APR. 30, 07/MAY 14, 07/JUL. 9, 07/110V. 4.5A/HOSKINS MFG. C\O./ELECTRIC HEATING/APPLIANCES/DETROIT”. Spiral-pattern, brown and yellow cloth covered cord with a Cutler-Hammer, 250-volt/6-ampere, gray-blue glazed porcelain pendant push-button switch; replaced General Electric two-pronged black plug marked “PATENT/1611014”.
