Dr. Benjamin Young Prime’s <i>The Patriot Muse, or Poems on Some of the Principle Events of the Late War</i> was published by John Bird of London in 1764. The collection of poems referenced the British victory over the French in the French & Indian War, it recounted battles won, and celebrated the commanders who won them.
