Patent model for Thomas Davies, “Target for Surveyors,” U.S. Patent 159,021 (Jan. 26, 1875). Thomas Davies lived in Cincinnati, Ohio. The “T. F. RANDOLPH CIN, O" inscription on the back of the model is that of Theodore F. Randolph, the local instrument maker who made this model.
