The letters mainly consisted of correspondence between Susanna Anthony and her friend Sarah Osborn, while also including letters from Anthony to her pastor Samuel Hopkins. The main content of the letters regard Anthony’s Christian faith and her struggles to live a life in the best possible way, devoting much of her days to prayer.
