<i>Familiar Letters</i> was a collection of letters published by the office of the Newport Mercury of Newport, Rhode Island in 1807. The letters mainly consisted of correspondence between Susanna Anthony and her friend Sarah Osborn, while also including letters from Anthony to her pastor Samuel Hopkins. The main content of the letters regard Anthony’s Christian faith and her struggles to live a life in the best possible way, devoting much of her days to prayer.
