This colored print depicts bust portraits of the first eleven presidents of the United States surrounding a central black and white image of "The Declaration of Independence, July 4th 1776", which is a copy of the original by Lossing and Barritt. Lossing and Barritt based their image of the Signing of the Delaration of Independence on the composition created by John Trumbull.
