This <i>Letter to the Legislative Authority of Connecticut</i> was written by an unknown author using the pseudonym, Justinian. The 15-page booklet, published on August 18, 1770 advocated for a change to Connecticut’s debtors law, asking it to be reformed on the basis that it was unbiblical and detrimental to the public good as well as the economy of the colonies.
