This late nineteenth century wooden clamp, with a tapered nose, and operated by two threaded handles, was from the workshop of Peter Glass. As a farmer in Wisconsin, German immigrant, Peter Glass, applied his native training as a marquetry craftsman to make award-winning furniture.
