Rectangular wool bunting flag. Blue field with faded yellow fringe on all edges except for the hoist. In the center of the flag is red horizontal arrow applique; the arrow points toward the hoist of the flag. There is a reinforcement square of fabric at the bottom hoist corner. White canvas hoist with a metal grommet at each end. The inscription on the hoist reads "17TH ARMY/CORPS 1ST DIVISION." The fringe and applique are hand-stitched using running stitches. The flag panels are machine stitched.
