Rectangular wool bunting flag. Blue field with a white shield applique in the center of the flag. Painted on the shield is a red cannon crossed over a blue anchor. White cotton machine-stitched hoist with no grommets. Flag seams are machine-stitched with cotton thread. Inscription on hoist reads "2nd Div. 9th Army Corps".
