Rectangular wool bunting pennant flag. White field with a red applique of two crossed swords hand-stitched to the center of both sides of the flag. Reinforcement squares at both hoist corners. White hoist is machine- and hand-stitched and has a metal grommet at either end. The inscription on the hoist reads "CAVALRY 1ST DIVISION." The flag is machine-stitched with flat-felled panel seams.
