Designating Flag, 2nd Division, 8th Army Corps

Rectangular wool bunting flag. Blue field with a large white six-point star insert in the center of the flag. Reinforcement squares of fabric on each hoist corner. White heading has a metal grommet at each end. Flag has flat-felled machine-stitched seams. On the insert, there are two rows of stitching on the flat-felled seam; one row is machine-stitched and the other is hand-stitched. Inscription on hoist reads "8TH ARMY/CORPS 2ND DIVISION".
