Jacquard woven ribbon with abstract design of green plant inside large polychrome polychrome vase sitting atop red rectangular medallion outlined with brown and yellow border and interior floral design; black ground, stylized leaves and vines in brown and yellow curl around vase and medallion; brown band outlined with narrow yellow band on interior along each side; black edging. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Graditude Train from France.
