Jacquard woven ribbon with floral design of red, white and blue flowers with green leaves on black ground; flowers atop brown and yellow ribbon with scattered brown stems; tricolor band of brown and beige along edges with interior-facing design of repeating brown block shapes. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Gratitude Train from France.
