Jacquard woven ribbon with abstract floral design of pink and blue stylized flowers encircled by curling brown vines on black ground; features outlined in beige; decorative band on each edge with interior design of repeating stylized pink flowers with brown stem and leaves on black ground; decorative band edged with abstract design of repeating beige arrows on brown ground. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Gratitude Train from France.
