Two samples of a jacquard woven ribbon with abstract design composed of repeating rondel and cross designs on black ground; rondels consist of 4 pink flowers outlined in yellow with brown spears projecting from sides; cross design includes green cross outlined in yellow with purple center point and 4 yellow arrows projecting from center of cross; green band outlined with narrow yellow bands with interior yellow band interrupted by clover design along edges. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Graditude Train from France.
