Jacquard woven ribbon with floral and botanical design of polychrome flowers with green leaves on blue ground; flowers arranged in curving form of wheat grasses; yellow band with interior decorative design of repeating yellow circles along edges. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Gratitude Train from France.
