Jacquard woven ribbon with abstract design of stylized flowers and rondels on blue ground; design composed of beige banner outlined in black with interior design of stylized polychrome flowers joined by rondel containing green flower with purple center; elaborate border of repeating rondels in black and beige which outline the beige interior banner. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Graditude Train from France.
