Jacquard woven ribbon with floral and botanical design of polychrome flowers surrounded by green leaves on blue ground; flowers connected to serpentine curl of stylized acanthus leaves; brown band with pointed edge and narrow interior yellow band runs along each edge. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Graditude Train from France.
