Jacquard woven ribbon with floral design of large polychrome flowers with green leaves on black ground; flowers interspersed with yellow stems; yellow rope chain border along edges. White label with blue edging adhered to backside with number "191" or "161" handwritten in black ink. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Gratitude Train from France.
