Jacquard woven ribbon with abstract design of large stylized black leaves outlined in red encircled by green vines outlined in red on brown ground; primary design surrounded by smaller black leaves outlined in red and red clover and heart shaped flowers outlined in black; black band edged with red; interior design of brown spear tip with circle; border disrupted at intervals by green dot design. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Gratitude Train from France.
