A letterpress handbill for a Juneteenth commemoration to be held in Denison, Texas, June 19-20th, 1914. The handbill is printed in black ink on off-white newsprint and reads in large print: "Just a Reminder of the Emancipation Celebration to be Held at the Woodlake Park." This is followed by a listing of the scheduled speakers: J.M. Mosely, M.D., Dr. J. Porter, Dr. D.R. Blair, and Dr. Prince, as well as their respective topics: "Negro Industry," "Negro as a Citizen," "The Future of the Young Negro," and "Negro as a Business Man." Also included is "Music by Sherman Orchestra." The handbill was printed by Anderson's Printery in Denison, Texas.
