British brass-barreled blunderbuss

A British brass-barreled blunderbuss, constructed of a dark walnut stock, brass breech, butt plate, trigger guard, barrel, and flared muzzle. It has a stored black ramrod, a floral engraved proper right lock plate, and an elaborate scroll of lock stock plating on it proper left. There is a bright wedge of unknown material in the flintlock; proof marks on the proper left of the breech; a small dogcatch; notches throughout the stock towards the end of the barrel; a split in the stock’s proper right side from the butt plate upward.
