A black wool felt hat with a pink velveteen brim. That hat’s base is made from one panel of black wool felt that has been blocked to shape. Hand sewn to the top side of the brim is one panel of pink velveteen that has been, draped, gathered, and hand sewn along the crown base, creating a ruched effect. A metal wire is encased inside the brim’s edge for added structure. A hat band made from two thin strips of black wool felt, which are twisted together and wrapped around the crown base, are seamed together at the center back. The layer of pink ruched velveteen fabric is tucked under the hat band and a wool felt 5.5” wide double looped bow is hand sewn over the center back seam.
