A large wooden pestle. The pestle is carved from a single piece of wood. It is club-shaped with a wide, uniformly rounded top with a flat, blunt, striking end. The striking end is chipped around the edges and has some cracking on the striking surface. The pestle narrows sharply at the shoulder into a long, thin handle that widens slightly at the center. The handle has a rounded knob with a flat base.
