A sepia tone carte-de-visite of a young man looking left. Captured seated, a youthful looking man poses for his portrait wearing a dark notched-lapel jacket, vest, bright high-collared shirt, striped necktie, tiny pocket watch, and a handkerchief in his jacket breast pocket. Below the image, atop the brown photograph card, in gold ink, are the ‘Strong’ name and studio address [Third & Main Sts. / Napa, Cal.] imprints. On the reverse of the carte-de-visite is the graphite inscription “Jennings” along with several numerical inscriptions.
