A black felt hat with a draped hat band and feathers. The hat is made of wool felt and has a rounded crown. Cream synthetic fabric printed with diagonal lines of taupe and black is draped around the base of the crown. An applique half-moon shape made of black wool is sewn to the proper left side of the hat along the hatband. Black feathers are gathered and placed above the half-moon applique; the base of the feathers is placed below the applique. The brim of the hat is slightly wider at the back, and is turned inwards at the end. A metal wire is machine sewn to the edge of the folded brim at the interior. A black rayon petersham ribbon is machine sewn to the base of the crown at the interior. Text is stamped at the top of the crown of the interior that is illegible.
