A wooden sash plane. There is evidence of older dents, abrasions, and scratches. There are drying cracks on side of plane where the wood fibers have lifted slightly. In relief on broad side of body is [BUSCH]. In relief on the toe is [CE*CHELOR / LIVING*IN / WRENTHAM]. In relief next to it, apparently unrelated, is [NH].
