A wooden groove plane. There is evidence of older dents, abrasions, and scratches. There are spot stains throughout, and iron staining on the proper left side of the stock surrounding the metal rivets. The metal guard plates are obscured with buildup of coatings and embedded iron oxide. There are newer scratches and abrasions on the stock, exposing the lighter wood substrate. In relief on toe is [CE*CHELOR / LIVING*IN / WRENTHAM].
