A pink wool felt hat with a hatband and feathers. The hat is blocked to shape and has a rounded crown and brim. A pink synthetic petersham ribbon is adhered to the bottom of the crown. Three types of brown and white feathers in varying lengths are bound together on the proper left side of the hat. The feathers are joined at the quill with pink petersham ribbon and are sewn to the hat along the quill and bottom portion of the feathers. Black plastic is placed under the feathers close to the ribbon. The edge of the brim is folded to the underside and machine sewn along the perimeter. A woven fabric label is adhered to the center back of the hat which reads [betmar / new york]. A union label is placed behind the designer label which reads [UNITED HATTERS, CAP & MILLINERY WKRS / INT. UNION]. A label is stamped to the interior top of the crown which reads [100% WOOL/ betmar / NEW YORK]. White thread is placed at the bottom of the center back designer label.
