A complete brick, crudely shaped, with mortar still adhered. On one face is a fresh break at the corner and another fresh break along one of the long edges where there is still mortar. The opposite face has air bubbles under the surface. The brick is red in color with purple mottling throughout, suggesting exposure to higher firing temperatures.
