A blue and green sleeveless dress with a jacket designed by Zelda Wynn. The dress (a) is made of aqua silk crepe de Chine with two layers of silk chiffon on the top half. It has a V neckline with a horizontal bust dart on each side with two shaping darts starting at the bust and ending at the drop waistline. A green synthetic twill band is sewn at the drop waistline with a loop at the center front which hides where the ends of the bands are joined. The bottom portion of the dress is made of blue silk crepe de chine with two layers of silk chiffon. The dress has a sheath silhouette and ends above the knee. The back of the neckline has a deeper V. A metal zipper is hand sewn to the center back starting at the neckline and ending at the drop waistband. A metal hook and thread eye are sewn at the top of the zipper. A shaping dart is sewn to each side of the zipper. The bottom portion of the dress has a center back seam along the blue silk crepe de chine and silk chiffon. Lingerie guards consisting of a metal snap with thin cording are sewn below each shoulder with a thread loop at the center. The dress is lined in aqua synthetic twill on the top half and blue synthetic twill on the bottom. The hem of the exterior has a blue machine stitched synthetic ribbon, the hem is folded inwards and stitched to the silk crepe de Chine at the interior. The hem of the lining is doubled folded to the exterior and hand whip stitched. The dress is self-faced at the neckline and armscyes with silk crepe de Chine, the lining is hand sewn to the self-facing. A woven fabric label is hand sewn to the proper left side of the center back neckline which reads [Zelda Wynn / NEW YORK, N.Y.].
