A black plastic straw wide brim hat.The hat is made from braided plastic straw that has been wrapped and sewn in the round, creating both the brim and crown. There is a wire, possibly metal, inserted along the edge of the 4" brim. At the outside of the hat is a 1" hat band that goes around the crown that ends at the proper right with two 5.5" tails. The inside of the hat is unlined and at the interior back is a white brand label that reads [MISS SCHIAPARELLI / PARIS] in red script.
