A sepia tone carte-de-visite of a young woman looking right. Captured seated, a woman poses for her portrait, gazing to the right of the camera, wearing an earring in her proper right ear, a high-collared striped dress with button detail, and a large double-bow at her neck. Her dark hair is styled with bangs above her brows and pinned in the back. There appears to be a hair fork sticking out from the back of her updo. Below the image, atop the brown photograph card, in gold ink, are the ‘Strong’ name and studio address [Third & Main Sts. / Napa, Cal.] imprints. On the reverse of the carte-de-visite is the graphite inscription “Jennings” along with several numerical inscriptions.
