A black fedora-style hat with a black ribbon hatband. The hat is composed of woven black straw that has been molded to shape. A hat band made from a black Petersham ribbon is adhered along the outside of the hat where the brim and the crown meet. The hat band features a black bow made from the same material; it’s handstitched to the hatband on the proper right. There is a metal wire sewn along the edge of the brim of the hat that is secured into place with three rows of machine stitching. The interior of the hat is unlined and there is a black Petersham sweatband sewn to the interior crown. There is no label.
