An oyster hammer with a metal head and wood handle. The handle is stained a dark brown and is cracked near the head of the hammer. The handle also has several small holes in it. The handle fits into an eye on the hammer head and is attached with a metal rivet on the side and a nail at top. A circular wedge is also inserted into the handle through the eye of the hammer head. The head has a short face and a long, straight single claw.
