A wide brimmed hat with green fabric flowers and rhinestones. The base of the hat is made of buckram covered with green synthetic moiré. The surface of the hat is decorated with synthetic fabric flowers in cream and green ombre. Fabric bows made of synthetic twill with green and cream ombre are adhered on top of various flowers. The fabric bows are heat pressed with indentations. Plastic rhinestones are adhered to the center of the fabric bows close to the edge of the brim. The edge of the brim is finished with green synthetic velvet, a metal wire is encased along the edge. The interior crown is made of a septate piece of buckram covered with synthetic fabric and is adhered to the center bottom of the outer shell. The top of the interior crown is also decorated with fabric flowers. A metal wire is encased at the edge of the interior crown. A pink synthetic petersham ribbon is adhered to the bottom edge of the interior crown. A band of black synthetic bobbin lace is adhered to the petersham ribbon. The inside of the interior crown is lined with pink synthetic. A fabric label is adhered to the center back interior of the inner crown. The label reads [Frances Original / of WASHINGTON D.C.].
