She is wearing a light color shirt or dress with earrings. Her hair is gathered in a short bun. The photograph has an oval mat frame and backing. The front, bottom right corner is stamped with [Lay / NASHVILLE, TENN.]. On the back at top center is a handwritten inscription in pencil [Sublett].
