A pair of white elbow length gloves with pearl fastenings. The gloves are made of white kid leather. The gloves have a four-inch-long inner wrist opening with a bound edge. The opening closes with three faux pearl buttons on the outer edge of each opening. The top faux pearl button on the right glove is missing. The date [1897] is written on the inside of the left glove close to the bottom edge with blue ink. The gloves are machine sewn except for the hand sewn quarter inch hem.
