Black and white photograph of a man. Wearing a dark suit and light shirt, a mustache and a light colored fedora, he gazes straight ahead, slightly to the viewer's left. A star within a circle, possibly a Masonic symbol, is partially visible under his open coat. The photograph is surrounded by a white margin. Under the photograph, handwritten in pencil are the words "by L. Harper Jr. / Artist. Galveston Tex/ 1916." The photograph is set in a brown cardboard folder with two leaves.
