A brown velvet cloche with a black ribbon. The crown is composed of a panel of draped brown cotton velveteen, which is seamed from the left to the right to the brim. The brim is also composed of a panel of bias-cut brown velveteen. Black synthetic silk velveteen ribbon, measuring 1” wide, is handstitched around the circumference of the crown, ending with a bow at the brim. A metal wire runs along the seam between the crown and the brim. The brim measures 1.5” wide at the center front and .5” at the center back. The brim also has a metal wire stitched along the brim’s edge. Nylon net is machine stitched and hand stitched to the interior where the crown meets the brim. The hat is lined with stiffened cotton lining. There is no label.
