A wooden astragal molding plane. There is evidence of older dents, and abrasions, but a dark stain over the entire plane obscures past damage. There are exit holes from past insect activity, with some notable losses of wood that previously covered insect channels. There are spot stains and uneven staining on the stock's proper left side. In relief on toe, oriented vertically, is [CE*CHELOR / LIVING*IN / WRENTHAM].
