A red double-breasted wool coat. The coat features a rounded collar and a short double-breasted front placket which closes proper right over left with six 1" plastic buttons. At the bottom proper left of the placket is a thread loop, that corresponds to a .5" bright red plastic button at the proper right interior. Each sleeve is made from one panel of fabric that is sewn to itself at the inner arm, which has been hemmed 3", most likely by its previous owner. At each hip, is a 7" pocket with a 2.25" flap. The pockets are self-faced at the front and lined with red synthetic plain weave lining at the back. There are bug bites throughout the coat and a panel of synthetic organza is hand sewn to the proper right bottom outside and interior of the coat to catch any additional shedding.
