A peach straw hat with fabric flowers. The hat is made of coated straw, it has a rounded crown and a wide brim. A green silk velvet ribbon is adhered to the base of the crown and is tied into a bow at the center back. Fabric flowers and leaves are adhered to the brim and underbrim at the front of the hat. The flowers are made of pale pink and green silk organza and cream synthetic satin. The cream leaves are made of synthetic satin and have an ombre effect with green and pink. Green synthetic satin is used to make the stems which are located on the brim and underbrim. Wire is placed on the inside of the stems and on the back of the leaves. The center front of the hat is folded at the side of the crown and the brim. A black synthetic petersham ribbon is adhered to the crown’s inner circumference. A synthetic satin ivory ribbon label is adhered to the center back interior of the crown that is marked [Frances] with pen or marker.
