Commissioned in 1909 by the Daughters of the American Revolution. Given to the Officers' Club at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis shortly after; relocated to the U.S. Army Finance Corps Museum on Fort Benjamin Harrison property; portrait remained at Fort Harrison until it was closed in mid 1990s. US Army Finance Corps Museum moved to Fort Jackson, SC.
